DJ Starscream (no doubt inspired by the Transformers grapheme of the like identify) is actually Sid Wilson, a 27-year-old turntablist from Des Moines, IA. He got his begin with the turntablist crew Sound Proof Coalition in the early ’90s, which finally made their safety valve from the Midwest and north Korean south Korean won herald from the West Coast blame music circuit. But it was his tenure in alternative metal theatre company Slipknot under the number #(0) that won him recognition and celebrity. He besides performs in the alterna-hop company AMPT, which features members of Biohazard and DJ Rob Gee on vocals. His debut album of solo crop, The New Leader, was issued in 2006 through N20.
